Warwood Tools Joins Christian Rose and AM Racing for the 2023 ARCA Season

STATESVILLE, N.C.: Officials from AM Racing announced today that the Warwood Tool Company, a forged top-quality, 100 percent American-made manufacturer of tools for nearly 170 years will support ARCA Menards Series driver Christian Rose for the full 2023 ARCA Menards Series season continuing with the upcoming General Tire 200 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on April 22, 2023.

Since 1854, the Warwood Tool Company has been crafting high-quality, hand-forged sledges, mauls, axes, adzes, hammers, picks, chisels, bars and punches for hard-working Americans.

Henry Warwood started his company in Ohio as a coal mining and gardening tool supply business, but as the landscape of America changed, Warwood Tools adapted, providing tools for the railroad, construction and oil industries that fueled the Industrial Revolution.

During both World Wars, American soldiers relied on the Warwood entrenching mattock to dig foxholes and trenches, and in fact, have trusted Warwood Tool products in every war since the Civil War.

In 1892, Warwood Tool found a permanent home near Wheeling, WV, in a town that grew around the factory and was named in its honor, Warwood, WV.

In 169 years, Warwood Tool has changed ownership only seven times and is still a family-owned and operated business.

Manufacturing in the same factory since 1907, Warwood Tool continues its commitment to the time-tested, labor-intensive manufacturing process that turns premium US-sourced steel and hickory into the best hand tools available today.

“I am really excited to welcome another West Virginia-based company to our AM Racing team,” said ARCA Menards Series rookie driver Christian Rose. “Warwood Tools has been a staple in West Virginia for nearly two centuries and to be able to represent such a respected family-owned organization is such a blessing.

“With the dynamic family-type atmosphere that AM Racing instills, I feel like we’ve hit a home run with this new partnership and I cannot wait to see our relationship blossom with all the ideas and initiatives we have planned during the season. I am ready for Talladega in a few weeks.”

Warwood Tool president Chris Azur explained the company’s excitement about their first Motorsports endeavor with Christian Rose and AM Racing.

“Honestly I’m so excited for the opportunity to connect with Christian and AM Racing as the momentum we have at Warwood Tool is tremendous and should crossover well into the world of NASCAR,” offered Azur.

“The goal is to take our nearly 170 years of American manufacturing to an entirely new audience who are going to appreciate the quality, USA-made products.”

Rose, a former Division 1 baseball player for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore will make his ARCA Menards Series debut at the famed 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway as part of a doubleheader with the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

In addition to ARCA, Rose and AM Racing also plan to compete in a limited number of NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series races which will be announced at a later date.
