Stephen Mallozzi and Outback Steakhouse Team Up for Bristol Motor Speedway Truck Series Race

STATESVILLE, N.C.: Stephen Mallozzi and AM Racing are pleased to announce that Outback Steakhouse will serve as a primary marketing partner on the No. 22 AM Racing Ford F-150 for the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics Truck Series race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Thurs., September 14th.

Outback Steakhouse, widely known for its famed Bloomin’ Onion, is sponsoring Mallozzi, who is also an Outback employee. Mallozzi never imagined he’d have his employer’s name on the side of his truck.

“I am absolutely stoked to bring Outback Steakhouse on board,” said Mallozzi. “To have a nationally recognizable brand on the side of my truck is enormous for me, not just because I get behind the wheel another time, but because it helps my brand image in a big way.”

“Not to mention, it doesn’t hurt to have a good relationship with a brand that makes some of the best steaks in the country!”

When not behind the wheel in the Truck Series, Mallozzi is serving tables at Outback Steakhouse, having worked at numerous locations since 2021.

After a post on social media in which he revealed he had worked a shift at the restaurant the day after running the Truck Series race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in April, Mallozzi and Outback connected and formed the partnership for the 20th Truck Series race of the season.

Mallozzi’s debut at the “Last Great Colosseum” will mark his fifth Truck Series start of the season and his third with Statesville, N.C.-based AM Racing. Most recently, the two paired together at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, where Mallozzi scored a season-high 24th place finish in July.

“To work for a company that supports its employees like this is pretty awesome,” Mallozzi added. “I’ve always had a great relationship with all my bosses, and to finally get a deal done is an incredible feeling.

“I’m also very excited to return to AM Racing because I expect us to keep improving our relationship. I can’t thank all the guys at AM Racing, Outback Steakhouse, and Josh Reaume enough for putting this opportunity together for me.”

Mallozzi will make several appearances at numerous Outback locations, including one at the Bristol, Tennessee, location on race day, Thursday, Sept. 14th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. He will make two more appearances following the race on Tuesday, September 19th, in Charlottesville, Va. and Christiansburg, Va., respectively.

In addition to Outback Steakhouse, Levrack, Stacking Denny’s Podcast, L’Uva Bella Winery, and Win the Race will serve as associate partners for the Truck Series Playoff race.
