Brett Moffitt Quoteboard:
On Michigan International Speedway: “I am looking forward to Michigan International Speedway. I have always liked racing there. The track is very wide and there are plenty of room for racing. The draft always comes into play at Michigan too and that usually provides excitement for the fans.
“I am looking at Michigan as an opportunity to rebound from our misfortune at Road America last weekend. We had a good, fast car – but something things are just out of our control.
“The finish definitely hindered us a little as far as the Playoffs are concerned, so we’ll look to use some strategy and luck to hopefully shove our AM Racing team back in the Playoffs picture.”
On 2023 Season Outlook: “We have just past the halfway point of the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series and I feel like we have a lot to be proud of. I believe as the season has marched on, our team has gotten stronger and I believe the results have showcased that.
“We had a bump in the road at Road America, but we are not going to let that detour us from what we have accomplished in our first year together.
“With the Playoffs on the horizon, we are doing everything in our power to either point our way in or fight our way into Victory Lane so we can take up one of the coveted 12 spots and really bring some attention to our AM Racing team.”
