Darlington (S.C.) Raceway | Shriners Children’s 200 Race Recap: In the most recent NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway, Brett Moffitt and the AM Racing team attempted to tackle the track dubbed “Too Tough to Tame.”

Quickly, the Grimes, Iowa native muscled his way inside the top-10 until he became involved in a multi-car accident on a restart. Despite suffering heavy front-end damage to his vehicle, Moffitt wrestled an extremely ill-handling race car to a 20th-place lead lap finish.

Brett Moffitt Quoteboard:
On Charlotte Motor Speedway: “Obviously, we will be battling the weather this weekend at Charlotte – but when we do get racing, we will be competing under extremely cooler conditions than we traditionally do during the spring race at Charlotte.
“I feel the track will still provide plenty of action and while the bumps have become extremely aggressive, we will do whatever we can to make sure we have a good balance with our No. 25 AM Technical Solutions Ford Mustang.
“I hate that we had such a run spoiled by something we could not avoid at Darlington – but we will try and rebound this weekend at Charlotte in front of a lot of fans, families and friends.”
On 2023 Season Outlook: “Through the first 11 races, we have definitely showcased speed, but we know we have to turn that speed into performances.
“We are approaching a crucial summer stretch for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and we are doing everything we can to make sure we are prepared to attack and put ourselves in the Playoffs.”
