Austin Wayne Self Quote: “I am very appreciative of my AM Racing team. We had some ups and downs throughout the day, but we persevered for a respectable top-20 finish at the end of the race.
“I am proud of our team because we were able to fight back mid-race when our No. 22 AM Technical Solutions | GO TEXAN Chevrolet Silverado RST wasn’t handling the best. We stayed out near the end of the race which propelled us inside the top-10, but it got super crazy on the restart and it was a game of survival from that point.
“We will regroup and try to charge forward to Richmond with hopes of a top-15 or top-10 finish in a couple of weeks.”
