Motor City Roar: AM Racing is set to welcome back Lake Oswego, Oregon native Kole Raz for Friday’s ARCA Menards Series event – the Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway.

The 2.0-mile Great Lakes State oval will host the sixth of 20 races on the 2025 ARCA Menards Series schedule, a cornerstone in the development pipeline for NASCAR’s top three national divisions.

Friday’s race marks Raz’s eighth start with the Statesville, N.C.-based AM Racing organization. He most recently drove for the team at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, where he demonstrated top-five race speed before a mechanical gremlin, dashed his hopes of securing a breakthrough victory.

Raz has opened the 2025 campaign with impressive consistency, earning back-to-back sixth-place finishes in ARCA Menards Series national competition at Daytona International Speedway and Phoenix Raceway.

He followed that with a strong runner-up performance in the ARCA Menards Series East opener at Five Flags Speedway in March.

Raz also continued his momentum with a seventh-place finish at Rockingham Speedway, overcoming a ninth-place starting position in the second East Series race of the season.

About Kole: Kole Raz is a 22-year-old first-generation Lake Oswego, Oregon, driver. He enters the ARCA Menards Series platform after competing in various Super Late Model divisions along the West Coast.

Raz is a 22-time Super Late Model winner, with victories last season, including the 2024 Chilly Willy 150 winner, the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Salted Metals 150, and the Star Nursery Classic at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Last year, Raz also scored his first ARCA Menards Series West victory in a thrilling finish at Kevin Harvick’s Kern County (Calif.) Raceway.

In addition to his many Late Model wins, Raz is a two-time NASCAR Arizona state champion.

He’s Back Too!: To help guide Kole Raz and the AM Racing team toward victory at Charlotte, veteran crew chief Ryan “Pickle” London will return to call the shots atop the pit box for the No. 76 Ford Mustang.

A seasoned NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series crew chief, London rejoined AM Racing in early 2023 after previously serving as truck chief during the team’s 2020 Truck Series campaign.

London brings a wealth of ARCA Menards Series experience, having led drivers such as Tom Hessert and Frank Kimmel to pole positions and guiding Grant Enfinger to victories at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway and the DuQuoin (Ill.) State Fairgrounds in 2014.

Most recently, he served as crew chief for West Virginia native Christian Rose in 2023 and 2024. Under London’s leadership, Rose collected five top-five and 23 top-10 finishes in 40 ARCA starts, while finishing third and fifth in the overall ARCA Menards Series standings over the past two seasons.

Alongside his two ARCA victories, London has amassed numerous top-five and top-10 finishes in the series, further cementing his reputation as a trusted and accomplished leader atop the box.

Kole Raz ARCA Michigan International Speedway Stats: Friday night’s Henry Ford Health 200 will mark Kole Raz’s first career start at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in ARCA Menards Series competition.

Located in Brooklyn, Michigan, MIS is one of the sport’s premier motorsports venues, renowned for its wide, sweeping corners, long straightaways, and blistering speeds that make it one of NASCAR’s fastest tracks.

This weekend, the high-speed, 2.0-mile oval nestled just an hour from the Motor City will play host to a tripleheader: the ARCA Menards Series on Friday, the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on Saturday (June 7), and the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday (June 8).

For Raz, the event presents another new challenge as the Oregon native looks to maintain his early-season momentum while continuing to gain experience at unfamiliar tracks on the national stage.

Kole Raz Career ARCA National Series Stats: Friday’s 100-lap race at Michigan will mark Raz’s fifth career ARCA Menards Series start.

In his first two starts of the season, the Oregon native earned season-best sixth-place finishes at both Daytona International Speedway and Phoenix Raceway in early March.

So far in 2025, Raz has continued to expand his ARCA experience, tackling new tracks such as Daytona, Five Flags Speedway, Rockingham Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and most recently Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Michigan will serve as the sixth new venue added to his growing résumé this season as he works to sharpen his adaptability across a variety of ARCA circuits.

Across 14 career starts on the ARCA platform, Raz has collected one win, four top-five finishes, and 11 top-10 efforts.

Staying Active: In between ARCA Menards Series events, Raz returned home to Washington, where he competed in a Super Late Model race at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval. Raz started third and held steady throughout the race, ultimately finishing a competitive third in a tightly contested battle. The top three drivers were separated by just four-tenths of a second at the finish.

AM Minute: AM Racing’s ARCA Menards Series program will take center stage this weekend at Michigan International Speedway with rising driver Kole Raz behind the wheel.

While the NASCAR Xfinity Series enjoys one of its rare weekends off, teams are shifting their focus to the highly anticipated return to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City — the site of the upcoming Chilango 150. The event will mark the Xfinity Series’ first trip to the famed road course since 2008.

For AM Racing’s No. 25 Xfinity Series team, the international trek comes on the heels of a strong top-12 finish at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway on May 31, 2025, offering a boost of momentum as they prepare for the challenge ahead.

Kole Raz Quoteboard:

On Michigan International Speedway: “I’m looking forward to tackling another track like Michigan International Speedway on Friday. I’ve been told it will be the fastest track I’ve ever competed on, even faster than Daytona or Talladega, but I’m ready for the challenge and focused on delivering a strong finish with our No. 76 Cyclum NextGen Travel Centers Ford Mustang.”

On Michigan International Speedway Preparation: “I wasn’t able to get into the Ford simulator before this weekend’s race, but I did spend a lot of time on iRacing — trying to adapt and get a feel for what to expect. I know there will be times when I’m going wide open around Michigan International Speedway.

“I’m looking forward to embracing all the new experiences that come with a new track, while also working to keep AM Racing’s strong track record at Michigan going.”

On Goals For Michigan International Speedway: “I’d love to deliver another top-10 finish with our AM Racing team on Friday at Michigan International Speedway. There’s no doubt we’ve shown speed in our race cars this season — we just haven’t had luck on our side in the last two races.

Hopefully, we’ve paid our dues, and we’ll be back on the throttle Friday with a strong result with our No. 76 Cyclum NextGen Travel Centers Ford Mustang.”

On The 2025 Season: “I’m really proud of how our 2025 season has started. We’ve been competitive everywhere we’ve gone, even at tracks I’ve never raced on before. The chemistry with the AM Racing team has been great, and each week I feel like we’re getting stronger.

“The goal this year is to keep growing, keep learning, and put ourselves in position to contend for wins as the season goes on.”
