Also, the Huntersville, N.C. native has seven NASCAR Cup Series starts at Talladega, delivering a track-best of 10th after starting 16th in the 2024 edition of the Geico 500 driving for Wood Brothers Racing.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway | Focused Health 302 Race Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series returned to Sin City this past weekend for its final mile-and-a-half stop of the 2025 season, and AM Racing delivered another steady performance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
After a strong showing in the spring, the No. 25 team entered the weekend with high hopes of duplicating—or improving upon—their earlier top-10 effort.
Burton and his Danny Efland-led crew showed early speed, posting the eighth-fastest lap in the first group of practice on Saturday morning.
During qualifying, the No. 25 Dead On Tools Ford Mustang appeared on pace for a top-10 starting position until a slight bobble in Turns 3 and 4 hindered the lap, placing Burton 20th on the grid for the 201-lap race.
From the drop of the green flag, Burton wasted little time advancing through the field, turning fast laps and showing consistent top-10 pace.
Despite multiple chaotic restarts and an evolving track surface that challenged teams throughout the afternoon into the evening, Burton kept his Ford Mustang clean and competitive — fighting through the varying grip levels to earn a respectable 14th-place finish at the checkered flag.
Over the final stretch of races, the No. 25 AM Racing Ford Mustang team will continue to battle for the highest possible finishing position among non-Playoff competitors, with their sights set on finishing fifth in the driver championship standings by the conclusion of the Championship 4 race at Phoenix (Ariz.) Raceway on November 1.

In his previous 34 Xfinity Series starts, he has collected one pole (Daytona International Speedway | February 2016), three top-five and 11 top-10 finishes.

Harrison Burton Quoteboard:
On Talladega Superspeedway: “I’m looking forward to getting back to Talladega Superspeedway with my AM Racing team. Even though we didn’t qualify very well in the spring, we had a lot of speed during the race in our No. 25 DEX Imaging Ford Mustang.
“I feel confident that no matter where we qualify on Saturday, we’ll be in the mix once the race gets going. Our AM Racing group has worked extremely hard to provide me with fast race cars every week, and I feel like our superspeedway program has taken a significant step forward.
“We’ve been able to put together a solid stretch of finishes on the superspeedways this year and to have a chance to sweep the season with top-10s in both races at Talladega would be a great accomplishment for everyone involved.
“These races can be unpredictable, but if we can stay out of trouble and make the right moves when it counts, I think we can be in position to contend for another strong finish — or maybe even something bigger.”
On Keys to Success at Talladega Superspeedway: “You definitely want to have a good-handling race car, and we learned a lot from our superspeedway program this year. Once the green flag drops, I think you’ll see a strong pace from our No. 25 DEX Imaging Ford Mustang.
“If you’re going to challenge for the win, you’ve got to put yourself in a good position, avoid getting shuffled out, and do everything you can to stay clear of any accidents.”
On Expectations for Talladega Superspeedway: “Talladega is one of those tracks where you have to expect the unexpected. You can have the best car in the field and still get caught up in something that’s completely out of your control.
“At the same time, you can put yourself in the right position, make smart moves, and have a shot to win it.
“Our goal this weekend is to execute, stay patient and be there when it matters most. If we can do that, I think we’ll have another opportunity to put our No. 25 DEX Imaging Ford Mustang up front and deliver a strong finish for everyone at AM Racing and Ford Racing.
“Superspeedway racing is all about teamwork and timing — and I feel like we’ve got both on our side heading into Talladega.”
On Goals for the Remainder of 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season: “Our goals for the rest of the season are pretty simple — keep building, keep learning and keep performing at a high level.
“We’ve shown we can run up front and contend for top-10s almost every week and that’s something we want to keep improving on as we close out the year.
“Even though we’re out of the Playoffs, there’s still a lot of pride in finishing strong and proving what this AM Racing team is capable of.
“We want to be the best of the rest, and we’re focused on ending the year with momentum. With the speed and chemistry, we’ve developed with our No. 25 DEX Imaging Ford Mustang throughout the season, I know we can finish this season on a high note.”
On Las Vegas Motor Speedway Finish: “It was a solid race for our No. 25 Dead On Tools Ford Mustang. We had a lot of speed early in Stage 1, but the restarts were pretty chaotic, and we had to be smart about not putting ourselves in a bad spot. The track changed significantly throughout the race, and we did our best to stay on top of it.
“We made some gains during the green-flag pit cycle, but that final restart was hectic, and we had to claw our way back.
“Still, it was a good recovery from the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and a strong finish overall. Hopefully, this gives us some momentum heading into Talladega Superspeedway, where we can chase another top-10—or maybe even contend for the win.”
