Harrison Burton Quote: “It was a solid day for our No. 25 Morton Buildings Ford Mustang. We continually improved the balance throughout the race, and I really felt like we had a chance to make a late charge for a top-10 finish. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.
“We weren’t very good this morning — we were 36th in practice — but Danny (Efland, crew chief) didn’t give up. We made some adjustments, and the car responded, we were then able to make the most of it.
“The good news is we cut nine points off the gap to the cutoff line. We need to continue working and find a way to earn some stage points to improve our position. We’ll head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway looking for another strong run to see if we can break into the top 12.”
