Austin Wayne Self Quote: “We really had a good No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverado. I know that we didn’t qualify well, but our truck really raced well.
“Unfortunately, in Stage 3, I just didn’t have any power. I felt like I was running at half-throttle even though the pedal was to the floor. It’s disappointing to end such a strong season with a 26th place finish, but we’ll review and this will make us better for the future.
“I cannot thank my AM Racing team enough for all of their hard work this season and our awesome marketing partners for their support this season. I can’t wait for Daytona in February.”
Next Up: The NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on Fri., Feb. 18, 2022.
