Austin Wayne Self Quote: “We definitely fought hard to get a top-20 finish. We made some good strides with our No. 22 AM Technical Solutions | GO TEXAN Chevrolet Silverado RST throughout the race, but unfortunately, we obtained some damage to the nose of our truck, and that played havoc with the handling.
“We never gave up though. I thought we were going to finish outside the top-20, but Ryan (Salomon, crew chief) did a great job with adjustments and we just keep fighting and kept ourselves in the top-20 on that final restart.
“Hopefully, this is the start of putting our 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season back on track and we can go to Charlotte and aim for a top-15 finish.”
