Austin Wayne Self Quote: “It’s a bummer that we didn’t get the opportunity to run the entire race because I felt like we had a lot of speed in our No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverado.
“We played some strategy early to get track position, but it was really dicey out there, especially on the restarts. I wish we could have gotten Stage 3 started because I feel like we would have been able to contend for a top-10 finish.
“Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to racing on my hometown turf next weekend at Texas Motor Speedway!”
Next Up: Vankor 250 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sat. Jul 18, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. (ET) live on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) | Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite Radio NASCAR Channel 90.
